I'm trying to opt out of Wi-Fi hotspots but they page does not load.

I get the following message:

The hot spot opt out link works for me. I did not try to re-enable the hot spot but the page opened.

Hi @la_familla
If the link isn't working either try a different browser or an incognito window.

Bump.... still doesn't work. Tried incognito, different browsers, tried different devices, tried different times of the day and week, tried on a rainy day in stoke on a Sunday still doesn't work. Contacted support, they just reiterated the same instruction I have been following. F*****g useless.

A very old thread now .... but AFAIK the Wifi Hotspot facility is being phased out and no longer being used by VM. Perhaps this is why the link is broken.

This is the last month for the Virgin Media hotspots, they have already been disabled on all the Hubs local to us.

It's still operational on my hub and whenever I'm in range of a hotspot my phone automatically connects to hotspots via vm connect. I just want it disabled.

I don't have VM Connect app - I prefer the Hub menus, which are very seldom needed once a system is running.

Not really relevant but thanks for sharing, the public wifi hotspot of my router is enabled irrespective of having the VM connect app.

What is relevant is having the VM Connect app installed is what is causing your mobile to connect to the VM Hotspot.
