Wi-Fi Connections

Hi,

We've been having issues with the Wi-Fi dropping in and out and being really slow.

Would someone be able to have a look at the upstream/downstream levels to see if there's any issues there before we try and book an engineer?

Thanks!

Re: Wi-Fi Connections

Downstream power levels have a wider range than desirable, from +3.7 dBmV to -0.5 dBmV, and your upstream power levels are all on the high side, with one channel still dropping modulation badly.  In theory the hub could still work OK with those numbers, in practice it's often associated with problems, so you may want to try getting a technician, but bear in mind that VM's telephone performance is very poor at the moment, and if you get through then the agent will be reading from a script, and won't have the foggiest idea about power levels or modulation.  I'll flag your post for a staff response, let's see if they can shed any light on what's going on.  Without seeing the network log there may be other evidence that indicates a problem.

Thanks for having a look.

Here is the network log if that’ll help at all.

Re: Wi-Fi Connections

Good morning @raphaeIH

Welcome back to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

We are going to need to get an engineer out to you. So that I can arrange this I am going to need to drop you a PM.

Kind regards,

Zak_M
