Website blacklist removed from Hub3?

I've recently returned to Virgin and got a Hub3 in the post last week. I've had some success in the past adding "manifest.googlevideo.com" to the blocklist in the Hub3's UI to stop youtube video adverts on my xbox one.

However it appears to have been removed from the routers UI options, because I can't find it anywhere.

Is there any other way of doing this now, like editing the router UI using the console to show the feature again?

Also if anyone is out there with an older Hub3 with the option available, I'd love to know the routers local address for the website blacklist option...

eg: http://192.168.0.1/?security_dmz&mid=DMZ

was not aware that was ever possible but even if it was then older or newer hub3 will all run the same firmware so it matters not how old they are

can you not block it with your browser - most have a blacklist setting

This was some thing the SH1 did but not that well did it for port 80 not 443 even if its DNS and should applied to all ports.

You want to look into pi-hole or own router.

So using the hub3 in modem mode with a router and pi-hole looks like the best way forwards. Hell, trust Virgin to ship the Hub3 with so little functionality!

Pi-Hole is excellent piece of software and offer blocking of many “bad sites”, currently my Pi-holes are blocking 490,384 domains.
