Waiting for a text link after phoning 150. Hours later still no text.

Have a router kicking in and out on wifi. With slow speeds when in. All wi fi devices affected. Can't seem to figure out the seemingly circular route to get a response. Also 150 at the end says I will be texted a link. Tried this twice still waiting for a text

Re: Waiting for a text link after phoning 150. Hours later still no text.

Forget about getting a text reply.

Try this ...

Carry out a factory reset on the Hub …

DO NOT DO THIS if the password on the base of the Hub is not legible or missing.

Instructions for Hub 3

Disconnect all unneeded ethernet cables from the rear of the Hub.

With the Hub Powered on use a paperclip or similar and do a pinhole reset.

Depress the pinhole switch for a timed 60 seconds then release.

DO NOT reboot the hub but allow it 5 to 10 minutes for it to boot itself up.

Once a steady white and no other lights are illuminated check your system again.

Whilst waiting (for a long time), If you want some help on diagnosing/fixing the issue from people here - can you post up more details.

EDIT: as Mike suggested

What Hub model is it?
What are the lights on it showing/doing when there is a problem
What BB package are you on?
Describe the problems and are they evident on ethernet connected devices when wifi ones are?
How frequent/long are these drop outs - and are they only on devices that are "distant" from the Hub.
Etc.
