WV7 intermittent service

Past two weeks has seen dreadful broadband service.  Constant drop out with solid green power light and flashing green WiFi light.

There has been no change to my config.  All connections good and nothing has inteferred with them.

Spent hours trying to get through to Indian (?) call centre to get operative with such a strong accent that I could hardly understand a word and not a lot of help bar book an engineer.

What is going on in the local area that is interfering with service?

Check for any “known network faults first - Try in 2 places

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum)

2) Then also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to street cab/ postcode level.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 1 WiFi, 1 on PA) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On 250Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

I am so sorry that you have been facing issues with your connection and a big thank you to jbrennand for their help and advise so far. 

 

Can I ask if the Hub is in router or modem mode? Do you have any third party routers attached at all?
