WIFI MESH PODS

Can the mesh pods be used in Modem only mode with an external router?

Re: WIFI MESH PODS

No. They are only compatible with the hub in (poor) Router Mode

Re: WIFI MESH PODS

No.  They might work with a an existing Plume system (as they make the pods, and the Hub emulates the Plume router), but I can't offer any guarantees on that.

Re: WIFI MESH PODS

So, that's three emphatic "no's".  If you explain what your setup is, and what you want to achieve, we may be able to offer some more constructive responses..

Re: WIFI MESH PODS

It was just a question.

I current have the hub into Modem Mode with an Archer C7 handling the connections much better than the VM hub.

Just want to get better coverage upstairs

Im guessing a non VM mesh system is the way fwd then.

You can look at either swapping the router out completely for a mesh system or upgrading to a better router.

Re: WIFI MESH PODS

Sorry to ask a question you've pretty much answered.

If the pods are made by plume can they be paired by ethernet to a 3rd party router like plume pods or do these have unique firmware that only works with superhubs?
