I have had a Hub 5 as of a few weeks ago. It is in modem mode connected to a mesh on the high speed ethernet connector. The mesh works absolutely fine. However the Virgin TV box and Playstation are ethernet connected to the Hub and have started losing connection causing me to need to reboot the router. After 2 weeks this seems very odd. Feels like a fault?

I am so sorry that you have noticed this issue with your Hub, has Client62's explanation of the limits with ports when a Hub is in modem mode explained things for you?
Have you changed the connections?
