Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Connect app?
(It's flakier than a dandruff convention to be honest)
In honesty - if you want that level of control over devices - I'd think about getting my own wireless kit - I got the Archer c7 (TP-Link) been very impressed with it! Much better range and control than the Hub 3!

As mentioned by @lotharmat have you tried reinstalling the app to see if the issue persists? Also what device are you using to access the app? Have you tried this on a different device to see if the issue persists?
