Virgin Media Hub 4 Not found in connect app

Hi Community,
could do with some help recently got a hub 4 and when using the virgin media connect app it just won’t find it.

I spoke to customer service and they told me there is some massive update and they don’t know when it will be done.

any thought s from anyone?

If you have had a recent change of Hub,  try ... on your mobile delete all data for the VM Connect app & reinstall it.

This is a very common problem. The VM Connect app is the issue, don't reboot the Hub that will not help.

The Hub can be managed at http://192.168.0.1     ( Hub password is on a sticker - it is not the same as the WiFi password )

The Hub can be speed tested via : https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/

Known local faults are reported on an automated number 0800 561 0061

I thought you might say that, yeah I have been doing it through the IP but would have been nice to have the app working as well.

I guess I will have to make do let’s see how long this router lasts before it starts playing up
