Virgin Media Connect App Issues

Good afternoon, I'm a new customer connected yesterday.

I'm having issues with the Virgin Media connect app today in that it doesn't recognise my router (HUB 5) and because of this, I can't disable the pause on some devices.

I've tried;

- turning phone off and back on
- Uninstalling the app and reinstall
- Uninstall the app, reboot phone and reinstall the app
- Installing the app on anther device of a different OS.

Main device: iPhone on iOS16.2

I click on the broadband tab and all I get is "Hub installing..."
We're working our magic! The hub 5 should be online soon.

However, the Hub 5 has been online for at least 24 hours working fine before now.
Is there another way I can turn off the pause on my devices?

Thanks

I've now tried a hub restart and it still doesn't fix the issue.
App is now saying to me:

We can't find your Hub
Looks like we've lost connect. Please try installing again (which doesn't work)

I've not done a full reset of the Hub 5 and I still have the same issues of the Connect App not being able to find the hub. Thus not being able to fully manage my network.

Forget the connect App.... its awful.

Just log into the Hub settings In your browser’s URL box type in http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) and using the Hub password on the Hub sticker - and do any changes from in there

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks for the reply.

Based on my initial look at the local address, there no way to actually manage my network in terms of pausing internet activity on devices and then removing that. Unless I'm being a bit blind.

I just found the MAC filtering section. This will work.
Thanks John 🙂
