Virgin Media Connect App Error Message

The Virgin Media Connect App continually gives this error message after login:

"Sorry. We couldn't connect you to the server. Please try again in a moment."

I've tried deleting and reinstalling. Any ideas?

Does your Hub show up on the list of available networks on your device?

Yes, I'm connected to the hub via WiFi and that's working no problem. Its the Connect App that won't connect. Bizarrely, the Virgin Media app has stopped working too. It starts, then I get the error message "Something went wrong. Really sorry. We're working on this."

I am also getting the same error for the connect app. I can connect to all other virgin media apps

Hi Jonno2607 and redmond175,

 

Thanks both for posting and apologies for the Connect app issues. 

 

Please can you try resetting the router, deleting the app and re-installing the app to see if it fixes?

Hi

deleting app and reinstalling and resetting router did not work. 

app randomly started working the next day.

I’m having this exact same issue this week, along with a strange WIFI Connect login issue which is telling me to use my main account to log in. 

Seems to be an issue with recognising account details - been working fine for years until this week. 

Haven’t been able to contact anyone at VM about this which is the most frustrating thing, terrible customer experience.

Anyone found a fix recently?
