VPN issues on broadband

Hi 

I'm generally happy with my Virgin Media M200 through the superhub 3. But we've been having problems connecting to my work vpn, which seems to suffer regular disconnections.  It's slightly worse on wifi, but still pretty unusable when connected directly by Ethernet cable.

I've captured a day's worth of BQM, and will post the router status below. Is there anything that can be gleaned from these results, or any suggestions on how to improve matters?

About 3 days ago.  At first I thought it was a WiFi issue so was troubleshooting that, before discovering plugging in directly didn't help much.

Rebooted an hour or so ago,  it's still been behaving the same.  If I'm lucky I get about 10 minutes on the VPN, then it loses connection.  The best way to reconnect seems to be to physically disconnect then reconnect the cable to my laptop, then wait a couple of minutes for vpn reconnection, which then will last anything from a minute to another 10/15 minutes.

Should I post the Router Status again since the reboot?

Try with the hub in modem mode.

When the hub is in modem mode, do I still plug directly from it to the laptop with the Ethernet cable?  I don't have my own router to plug in between the hub and my laptop.

Laptop to hub in modem mode is fine.

If anyone wanted a conclusion to this thread...  after modem mode seemed steady enough, I went out and bought an Asus ZenWiFi router and that seems to be working fine with the VPN, as well as improving Wifi coverage throughout my house.  Shame it falls on customers to buy better hardware than provided, but at least I can work now.
