VLAN Tagging on HITRON

I have a Hitron router in modem mode connected to a Google wifi mesh. I get occasional drop out and google have diagnosed this to VLAN tagging from the Hitron. No one at Virgin seems to know how to switch this off and Hitron support seems non existant.

Anyone out there come across this or know how to fix please?

Re: VLAN Tagging on HITRON

Its unlikely to do with VLAN and I doubt the Hitron does VLAN.

Re: VLAN Tagging on HITRON

Hi

Thanks for the reply

I am a business customer, but business support don't seem able to help.

I think it is VLAN tag related as the google wifi support team have seen the issue before and recommend switching off tagging

Re: VLAN Tagging on HITRON

You need to speak to the business support team though - this forum is for residential broadband.
