Upload speed

Why Is the upload speed so low on virgin?

I thought cable could do at minium 15℅ of your download speed as upload?

I'm on 500Mb but only get 46Mb upload

Any plans to boost this speed ?

Re: Upload speed

that's about right for a 500mb circuit.

think VM go with 10%, rather than 15%.

i guess.

~50mb is a pretty healthy upload speed though, and for most "normal" requirements is ample.. what is it you're doing that requires more?! 🙂

fair enough 🙂

yeah suspect you'll be waiting a while for improved speeds - either an openreach fttp connection with symmetric ul/dl speeds or (maybe) a 1gig/200mb VM connection (which is just assumption on my part and who knows if / when they have plans for such a service :p)
