Upgraded router and WIFI keeps dropping

Please can someone help!? Virgin recently sent the Hub4 which I subsequently installed and have the following issues:

- The WIFI keeps dropping on all portable devices, including the TV (anything connected with an ethernet cable works seamlessly

- The range of the new router is dismal compared to the previous version

- Getting hold of a technical team is impossible

If anyone can help with any of the above, that would be greatly appreciated

If it’s just Wi-Fi there’s little can be done.

Have you split the Wi-Fi bands and changed to less congested channels?

Login to the hubs admin page and go to the wireless settings and you can make few changes there

You choose a channel from the drop down on the same page.

You need to use a Wi-Fi scanner first to determine the best channel to use.
