Upgrade but won’t upgrade hub

Phoned to upgrade package for faster broadband and more tv. Got a good quote but will not upgrade hub 3 we currently have which sits with a permanent orange light and very poor WiFi speeds.

Currently on 125 mbps. Ran all their tests and say there’s nothing wrong with it

Re: Upgrade but won’t upgrade hub

Hub3 should be capable for average usage and new Hubs are in short supply ATM.

How many devices are you connecting to it on wifi and on ethernet cables?

What actual problems are you experiencing on them?

Re: Upgrade but won’t upgrade hub

The Hubs 4 and 5 do not have better WiFi coverage (i.e. range) than the Hub 3.

If your TV is too far from the Hub to work well that needs to be resolved first.

Is a WiFi Pod / Repeater being used and it is next to the TV when it should be half way between the TV and Hub 3.

Do not commit to a faster package that will not solve any WiFi issues, it will forever raise your bill.

Below is how we have our Hub 3's WiFi configured ....
