Unstable Connection and Speed during meetings when woking from home

For the last 1-2 months or so, very glitchy during intenet meetings using Skype for business or Zoom, especially in the afternoon. I use wired connection to hub3.0 directly. very annoying!!!

What do you mean by "glitchy"? Simple thing... have you tried a new Cat5e/6/7 ethernet cable - they do sometimes "fail".

That said, your down power levels are near the top of the recommended range and you have a few Up T3 timeouts. To get a bigger picture can you post up the network logs as well.

Also... If you haven’t already, set up a free and secure “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph” (as per instructions on the TB website) when it starts to develop.

"glitchy" means breaking up a lot when talking and listening to others, and sounded like Robot and hard to understand, I tried differernt headsets, same result.

yes i tried uploading monitoring in the first post but failed for some reason.

By the way, my wife is woking from home and having internet calls as well, and kids are taking online course from school, but it always happened in the afternoon, morning is fine.

We used BT BB 76M last year, no these annoying issues at all.

Right. I can look at the images but they will be rejected as they contain your i.p. address. Can you post the link to "share live graph" - where the TB site strips that out.

That said it looks awful and suggests to me that you may have a utilisation issue - too many users connecting at peak times. But only VM can say whether that is the case or there is some other issue (like your power levels) that is causing the issue.

I will flag for VM to come here and advise you - keep checking back

I've been able to locate your account using your forum details and can see that you're currently affected by an area congestion issue. We are planning to undertake some upgrades to support the increased demand for our services in your area. When completed, any slow broadband speeds and buffering on TiVo apps you may be experiencing (particularly at peak times) will be resolved.
