Unsecured Connections

Getting unsecured connections for websites and also weak security for hub.

Changed wireless security from WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK to WPA2-PSK, however even hub webpage is showing as not secure and other web pages are showing information message 'your connection to this site is not secure'.

Working from new chromebook and anti virus updated

Re: Unsecured Connections

unsecure messages are normal when accessing something on your local network.
any websites showing unsecure are an issue with the website, not your connection or device.

it's simply your browser now telling you that it's insecure, whereas before it wasn't.

Re: Unsecured Connections

the browser on your phone might be set to not report them being as insecure?
if the padlock is visible then it's secure, if it isn't then it's not secure.

as said, this is not a virgin issue.

Re: Unsecured Connections

as already stated, if chrome is telling you a site is insecure then that has nothing to do with the virgin connection.

it's the browser telling you that the WEBSITE is insecure.
