Unable to disable SSID Broadcasting on Hub 3

I am my Unable to disable SSID Broadcasting on Hub 3 for 1st one yet I can disable for the 2nd one why is so hard to do these things on vm I have and tried all the tips on here but still can’t turn it of. Can any one plz help

Our Hub 3 is in Router mode, it also does not permit SSID broadcast to be disabled.

We should be able to change it as I can for the 5gz also have read on here it’s something to do with the hub updated which they still have not seemed to fix since 2022 hop the vm staffe will read and help

What are you wishing to achieve by disabling SSID broadcast ?

More safe than having everone seen it now I using 5gz until I can hide it..called VM to got nowhere they don't know anything about 🤦‍♂️

I'd forget about hiding the SSID it does not improve WiFi security but it sure does increase inconvenience.

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your hub settings, what is happening, when you try to hide the SSID, are you getting any error messages or is it just not doing it. What did the team advise over the phone, when you spoke to them?

On a Hub 3 the SSID broadcast options for both bands are greyed out it looks like this ...

SSID broadcast options for this band is greyed out and can’t change it but I have mange’s to change it for the 5ghz

I mange to change it for the 2nd one just change the ssid name then it allows you to change it.
