UPDATED - Samsung S7 wifi connectivity

UPDATE 16/05/19 - We're currently working on a fix for this issue. We'll have more info once this is ready to be rolled out.

Some customers with Samsung Galaxy S7 may be experiencing WiFi connectivity issues with Virgin Media Hubs. We are working with the relevant team for this issue who have provided a suggested fix.

From your Android device:

  • Open ‘Settings’ and select ‘Connections’ and ‘WiFi’
  • Turn off the WiFi  wait for few seconds and turn it back on again.

This should fix your WiFi connection issue. If not, try these next steps. (Make sure you have your Virgin Media WiFi password ready)

  • Open ‘Settings’ and select ‘Connections’ and ‘WiFi’
  • Select your home Virgin Media WiFi network
  • Click “Forget”
  • Then you will need to connect back to your home Virgin Media WiFi again and renter the Wi-Fi password using the details on your Hub
