Two routers?

Hi i've just bought a house and right now we have the router downstairs where the previous owners had theirs, but it has signal issues upstairs.

in the master bedroom theres also a virgin box on the wall from where the previous owners had multiroom. Can i get another virgin hub or router that takes coaxil and plug it in there? just need someway to boost our wifi as i don't want cables running all over the house.

or maybe some sort of access point that can be plugged straight into the wall port

Re: Two routers?

No. You can get your own router and connect it to the hub. Or run some cabling to an access point. Or look into a mesh system.

All of these options will extend the wifi for you better than the hub alone ever will.
