Superhub 4 does not retain WiFi details on power recycle

I have recently upgraded to 1Gbps broadband and have a Superhub 4 and what I noticed is that setting up my WiFi to new ssid and password, when recycling the power supply to the superhub it reverts back to factory settings.  Is this normal for the Superhub 4?

If it is then this is poor as my previous Superhub 3 always remembers my own setting between power off and on.

If you change to modem mode and power recycle does it stay in modem mode?

Maybe you can look at getting a better router.
