SuperHub Restarting

Hi my superhub has been restarting between the hours of 12am and 1am without fail every night since last March .I initially thought it was because of more people using Virgin Media because of lockdown .Its not just my pc that is wired connection but every other wired device and wifi device that can't connect .I have to wait for between 5-8 mins before it comes back on .I never phoned 150 because i read lots of forum posts saying that people could'nt get through to Virgin Media .I would really like to get to the bottom of this issue .Any help would be appreciated .

I am In Perth Scotland

Thanks

Re: SuperHub Restarting

if you haven’t already, set up a free and secure “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph” (as per instructions on the TB website) when it starts to develop.

Re: SuperHub Restarting

Sorry Fella but it has nothing to do with wifi or like the whole hub restarts and every device pc disconnects at the same time .I think it is something from Virgins end or my Hub needs updating or its broken like i said it has been doing this for nearly a year now

Re: SuperHub Restarting

Lets see the BQM - that looks at your network connection and not over wifi. If its happening every night at that time its probably because VM are doing work on the network at that time and there is nothing wrong with the Hub at all. The BQM keeps a record of that which you can present to VM and say "what the hell is happening every morning for a year at this time?"

Re: SuperHub Restarting

There is no evidence in the BQM for disconnections between 00.00-01.00. Can you post up the Network logs that cover those time periods and we can see if there are clues in there
