Re: Sudden speed drop - RCS Partial Service...

Your power levels have gone to pot.  Downstream's too low, upstream's too high.  This could be an area fault that will be resolved without a technician visiting your home, or it could be that they've fiddled in the cabinet and reconnected you to an unsuitable tap, in which case it'll require a technician to furkle in the cabinet, and visit you to confirm all power levels are back in range.  I'll flag for the staff to advise.

You can in theory check for faults by phoning or using an online checker, but neither seem accurate or consistent enough to point you in that direction.

Re: Sudden speed drop - RCS Partial Service...

Thanks Andrew. Appreciate it. Do I need to do anything now, or just wait for the flagged staff to advise?

Many thanks,

Paul

Re: Sudden speed drop - RCS Partial Service...

Just wait on the staff is my advice.  If you're impatient you can try phoning it in, but phone waiting times aren't always good, and the quality of first line support is sometimes so poor that you wonder why they bother.
