Splitting 2.4/5mhz channels

We’ve recently got a smart washing machine and it requires 2.4/5mhz channels to be separated. I’ve been into the control centre, they are both ticked but don’t know if they’re separate or not. Auto is currently selected and it says mixed. Do I have to change something in the drop down menus?

In the 'Security' section append the name of the two SSIDs to xxxxxxxx_2G and xxxxxxxx_5G.

You'll need to reconnect all your wireless devices.

OR leave the 5G as it is currently and rename the 2.4Ghz to xxxxxxxx_2G.

Whatever is easier for you I suppose.

Thanks for posting on our community forum!

Have you managed to split the bands and get your device working now? 🙂

Yes all sorted thanks. It was also an issue with the Samsung SmartThings app.

That's great to hear and thanks for letting us know!
