Reaching around 90Mb/s via Ethernet cable is typical for a connection that has de-rated to 100Mb/s.

If a connection at 1000Mb/s is expected,   try a different network cable (internal faults are often not obvious)
and check the configuration of the network adaptor, for a computer "Speed & Duplex" is usually set to "Auto".

Hello Dutch923.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear about the speeds dropping when you are connected by ethernet.

Did you follow the excellent advice given by @Client62

If so, has it helped.
