Slow broadband despite 1Gb Oomph package

It has almost been one month that I have upgraded to the 1Gp oomph package. I was previously on the 200MB but reported slow speeds of  sometimes 18MB so I planned to upgrade. despite a new virgin router, I was experience slow speeds of only 90MB maximum and as low as 30MB. I did all the advice the website instructed me to; powering off, resetting the router but with no improvement. I discussed with a customer serve after several engaged calls and an hour wait he said he would fix this. Alas although initially I managed to achieve speeds of up to 190MB but more frequently it is 90MB. I do have a wired network to the house but am recording this directly from the router via a laptop so I know it is not my network.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is anyone actually achieving speeds of 1GB?

I have read in my contract if the speeds are not rectified within 3 days I can cancel the contract. Is this the only option I have?

Why upgrade your speeds when there’s potentially a line issue that’s truncating speeds?

Post the Network, Upstream and Downstream logs from the hubs admin pages

Re: Slow broadband despite 1Gb Oomph package

I was hoping there would be a resolution of the speed but clearly this is not the case. But thank you for your reply.

Re: Slow broadband despite 1Gb Oomph package

Can you please

Type 192.168.0.1 (192.168.100.1 in Modem mode) into your browser URL bar and press enter.

Hub 2 & 3 When the page appears DO NOT LOG IN but click ‘Check Router Status’.

Hub 4 When the page appears LOG IN then Advanced Settings > Tools > Network Status.

Please do not use screen shots.

Copy and paste the contents of the Downstream, Upstream, Configuration and Network Log tabs onto here, if you get a yellow / straw box warning click the Post button again.

Use one post for each tab if you wish.

A Guru will be along soon to decipher the info.
