Just had a 3.0 Hub installed and my Sky Q box won’t connect to it and as a consequence I have lost the connection to my sky mini box. A local satellite engineer tells me Virgin can alter the router settings to allow the connection to happen. Is that correct? If not can anyone help me out? All other devices in the property connect without any problems.
Thank you Dave. As I understand it the router works on either 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz depending on distance from the router. So the Sky Q is some distance from the router so would it not automatically go to 2.4 to accept something that only connects at 2.4? Sorry I am no expert just a frustrated amateur trying to get these things to work. Chris
