Setting up NAS with an external hard drive via the Virgin Hub 3.0 router

Hi there. I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a USB hard drive to one of the Ethernet ports on the Virgin 3.0 router (via an adaptor cable?) so I can use it as NAS. I'm wanting to be able to connect to the hard drive via wi-fi on my iMac so I kind of have a home 'cloud'. Is this possible?

Simple answer, alas no, this just isn't possible.

You can try something like the SSK 1TB Portable NAS Wireless Hard Drive.
