Think of a single track country lane compared to a four-lane motorway. If you happen to be the only car out that day then there won’t be much difference in your progress. Add some more cars (more people using the same network segment as you) and……

This is a particularly simplistic analogy but to explain it further I’d have to start talking about channel bonding etc. and nobody wants to go over all that, especially on a nice Friday evening.

Hi everyone,

The engineer came earlier today and installed a silver thing onto the coaxal cable, he also replaced the coaxal cable and checked the box outside and found some loose wiring which was not tight which he fixed, he also I believe moved our house down to a different port in the cabinet outside, hopefully this fixes the issues. He said the downstream power levels were too high and after installing the silver thing it improved.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience and he was quite insightful, it was also a quick job. Great Service!
