SH4 & GIG1

Evening all, hoping someone can help me.

I received my Hub 4 and went on to GIG1 a couple of months back now and I remember seeing a user guide in the box which referenced a couple of apps/websites to use to monitor your WiFi connection and other things I think.

Can anyone elaborate as to what they were, if they are needed or come in handy. Only reason I ask is the WiFi signal/speed/strength all seem to have dipped since first week.

Just curious.

Thanks

Re: SH4 & GIG1

The VM Connect App does not yet work with the Hub4. So you will just need to use other Apps for whatever operating system(s) you use.

Are connections on ethernet cable connections being affected in the same way?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Re: SH4 & GIG1

Yeah I've just seen that it doesn't work yet.

From what I can tell, hard wired seems OK. I have the VM Powerline adapters plugged, my V6 plus an Xbox Series X. That's all that's hardwired.

Just set up a think broadband chart to see the outcome of that.
