There was a fault in my area, when I was out for the day. However, once the fault was resolved the router did not re-connect to all the WiFi items in my home.
This is an inconvenience as items in my home need to connect (heating, CCTV).
I have experienced this other providers before, however there routes would re-connect with WiFi items in my home.
Question to virgin, why does my 5x router not re-connect. I need to know if my router is faulty, as this issue can not happen again.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with devices connecting after the area fault.
Are you able to try a pinhole reset on the hub.
Just look at the back for a reset button. Keep that pressed in for at least 20 seconds.
Allow the hub to settle down again and see if you can reconnect again.
It would also be advisable to make sure the network ID sticker is visible.
If its still an issue, let us know and we can take a more in depth look.
