Rooms with Blackspots

I have a hub3, its white, quite old, Im assuming VMedia have new models now, however, the 3 rooms upstairs disconnect from the wifi, however, the app says that the connection is "Great".... I can tell you its not at all!

So i have to have spotty connection all the time upstairs.

I have restarted, reset, adjusted channels to avoid neighborhood crowded channels, and still it disconnects upstairs in the house.

Need some help as its infuriating!!!

I also have the white Hub 3 and use Modem mode with my own wifi kit for exactly the reason you state.  You already know about channel optimisation etc, so I suspect your wifi environment is overcrowded with neighbours.  Don't assume the latest shiny Hub from VM will solve your wifi problems ....

You may have to bit the bullet and get your own wifi kit, e.g Deco M4 Mesh or similar, or wifi Access points e.g. Unifi AC Lite.
