Like others on this forum, I have received an email, allegedly from Virgin Media, to return a hub.
I have never heard of an Arris Hub 3. The router that I have now, is one that I have had for quite some time.
The only recent piece of equipment I have received, is the hub to phone cable, to enable the landline to operate on cable. Anything in the past, that needed to be returned, was taken by an engineer.
I can only think that Virgin Media have got me mixed up with another customer.
Appreciate some help / advice on this please, maybe a Virgin Media Rep. can help.

Same situation here also. It seems to be a common complaint. Search the forums for many other similar tales.
My new Hub 5 was delivered 4th August with return instructions that only mentioned Hub 4/5 needing to be returned and "recycle other items" which I did.
Now I'm getting demands for the Hub 3 router which has long gone.
The latest VM recycle page does mention Hub 3 ( https://www.virginmedia.com/help/return-or-recycle-equipment )
but a Wayback Machine snapshot from 9th August doesn't mention Hub 3.

So VM have changed their minds after the fact and are trying to extract money from us for following their instructions!

What is your current Hub. It is printed on the base sticker. And when (approx) did you get it ?
