Hi,

I have a Hub4 and would like to put times on my son's devices so that he doesn't access them all night.

He has them connected to a virgin POD and I can't find his two devices on the MAC filter devices.

PLease could you talk me through how I can put times on access to his two devices.

Kind regards

H

Someone more familiar with the Hub4/Pods will comment on how/if this can be done

But a general observation was that when I was doing this ~10-15 years ago the VM Hubs were useless at this. I used my own router and wireless equipment that had sophisticated tools to do this.

But.. none of it will prevent any Tech savvy tenacious teenager defeating your efforts by simply pinhole resetting the Hub whilst you sleep and logging in 😞 Any filters you set will be gone.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Do you know if virgin experts answer the questions?

Hi @gexhross,

Thanks for your post and a warm welcome to our Community Forums.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having some problems setting up MAC Filtering/Blocks on your network. I have spoken with our Product Team and they have confirmed that our Connect App provides the functionality to discover devices connected to Wi-Fi Pods, on the most recent update.

Can you please try installing the VM Connect App, and see if this allows you to see and pause the devices? If you already have it installed and use iOS, please un-install the app and re-install it. If you're on Android, this is due to be fully released by 12th of September.

Cheers,

Reece - Forum Team
