Re the Virgin Hub 3.0. I was wondering if it is possible to allow a device to connect onto home WiFi network and to communicate with other devices on that network BUT to restrict that particular device from accessing the wider internet?
The devices would be connected via WiFi to the Hub and I would like them to then operate normally over the local network but I would like to prevent them from then accessing the internet. Could this be achieved?
That will work, but easily circumvented. The only real way is to get your own router that would support this type of function, no knowledge if “standard” retail routers support this, but my Ubiquiti one does by using some JSON.

I’m not too fussed about it being actively circumvented by an individual, it’s more the devices themselves that I’d like to stop being able to pass data that is not required for their intended purpose.
Thanks legacy. Can this be done via advanced settings on the Hub 3.0?
No - per device.
