Red light on hub 3

Been a VM customer for a number of years “. Love the TV but broadband has never met expectations. Moved to 350 product a few years ago to allow for direct connection of hive, pc etc. but Wi-Fi has always been below par. Always get max signal when in same room but move across the hallway into the lounge and it drops to around 23 mbs with upload speed slightly higher. In addition to this the hub 3’s red light has been on for in excess of 12 months. Done all the recommended things for speed improvement and red light but nothing works. Can someone please help/advise?

Re: Red light on hub 3

Please confirm you re in the standard router mode. The hub will probably need replacing.

Re: Red light on hub 3

Yes definitely in standard router mode. Meant to say we have a pair of VM powerline boosters to connect our VM 360 box and a pair of VM Wi-Fi signal boosters to try and improve Wi-Fi performance upstairs (not that it does!).
