Red light Hub3 and inconsistent connections

Red light on my Hub3 has been showing for a couple of months now and connectivity of devices is getting worse and worse. Rebooted many times and checked connections but this does not solve the issue. Having read all the posts this is a common problem that requires replacement hub. Please can VM get in touch with me please to arrange engineer / replacement hub. Many thanks. John

Re: Red light Hub3 and inconsistent connections

Hi @Johnny_Velo 👋,
A warm welcome back to our Community Forums and thanks for your post! 😊

I am sorry your router is displaying a red light which started a few months ago. This is usually the overheating indicator.

We would ask you to follow the below steps:

•             Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.

•             Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location and out of direct sunlight, if possible.

•             Switch the hub back on at the power. The Hub should now operate normally.

If the Hub does not boot up or boots back up and the red base light persists, then please do respond to my PM as I will need to book a technician visit for you so the router can be replaced.

PS. I note that there is also an uptime issue. The hub hasn't been rebooted in 21 days so this may be contributing to the connectivity issues you are experiencing. A reboot may also install any new firmware waiting for the device, providing access to new features and services.

Many thanks
