Red base light on hub 3.0

Hello, the base light on my hub 3.0 has been red for a few weeks now. It was yellow for ages (over a year) then recently it started going orange and has now settled on red. I've tried switching it off and on again but it was red from the moment it came back on. It's not in an enclosed space and it doesn't feel like it's overheating, just slighty warm at the top. It seems to be working fine though. Is it OK to just ignore the red light? Is there anything else I can try? Any advice appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue with the red light on your hub 
I'd like to take a look into this for you as we will need to swap this.

In the meantime can you please ensure the following.

The hub is in a well ventilated place and away from any direct source of heat.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security. 
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great.
