My Hub 3 remains with a solid red light even after rebooting, moving the location, leaving it off to cool overnight. Leaving me with an intermittent internet connection.
In the network logs I'm getting critical errors and warnings (T3 & T4)
I have it setup in Modem Mode with a TP Link Router.

Be aware that if the hub is in modem mode the base light should be magenta.
If it is definitely red then the hub needs replacing.

Sorry to hear of the solid red light on the hub, and thanks for attempting to remedy this matter.
As per the advice from @nodrogd, this will need to be replaced.
