Hi

I just moved in the UK for a duration of 12 months and will be back in my home country after that.

I was wondering if I take a 18 months subscriptions and cancel in 12 - for a reason of moving out of the country - would I be allowed to not pay the cancellations fees?

Do not take an 18 month contract with VM and expect to walk away at 12 months without a cancellation fee.

Look for an ISP that offer a 12 month contract or perhaps an ISP that charges a connection fee & has a 1 month rolling contract.

When taking a contract, you are agreeing for us to supply the address for that minimum term. Therefore if moving within 12 months out of the UK then early termination fees would apply. 

You can opt for a monthly rolling contract instead but these are usually a little higher in price each month.
