I've been using Virgin for over five years now and I've only had issues in the last year and a half - I recently upgraded with the O2 package to get the 362 Mbps download speed so I can stream at a better quality. However, for over a year now I've been expiriencing periods of really high latencyu at random points of the day - not always at peak times, sometimes its at 6pm, sometimes 2am. I've had an engineer out previously and they have said there is no issue with my connection.
I'm using a PC with a wired ethernet, so the issue isn't the wifi, it's the connection itself. I've previously changed out my ethernet cable, ethernet port on PC and the router itself - can anyone explain what's going on? I've opened up numerous support cases for this issue in the past and it never gets resolved.

Yes no issue does not include other peoples traffic without QoS running a muck.

See what VM say when they get here - but there is a whiff of "overutilisation" about that connection.
Do a search of this forum - ther are lots of discussion on that issue For some background info see this old thread re. over-utilisation and Andrew’s comments in Message 20 in the old thread below
(It turned out that it WAS overutilisation!)

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
I'm really sorry to hear of the broadband issues. I have done a system diagnostic today and you do have a congestion issue.
I have raised this form to our networks team and also done a work order on the system. I'll be in touch in a few days as soon as I know more about this.
Best wishes.

Well it's been two weeks - is there any update? I'm still getting these issues as I have been for the past two years, I basically can't use the internet to any meaningful capacity during these periods
