Possible to connect two Hub 3.0 to extend WiFi range?

Hi,

We have 2 Hub 3.0 devices. Part of the house has bad WiFi reception. Is it possible to connect the two VM hubs (either with a long LAN cable or wireless), to extend the WiFi range?
I did a search, but only found posts referring to the Superhub not the Hub 3.0.

Some generic instructions on the web mention to enable "repeater mode", but I can't find the appropriate settings in the hub's admin area.

"Modem mode" probably isn't the right thing. We definitely want to keep WiFi enabled on both hubs. Either as one network, or two separate networks. Whichever is easier.

Thank yoU!

Its a hub not a extend WiFi its designed to connect to the Docsis network in router mode or modem mode.

If you need to extend WiFi get the right kit.

Thank for your answer. So, in other words: the 4 LAN sockets on the back are designed for "output" only, and can not be changed to "input", correct?

Try it, if it works, it works, if it doesn't hard luck.

@MikeRobbo
Sorry – but this really isn't helpful.
If someone asks you "how", your answer is "try it"???

OK then, don't try it. Put the old Hub back in the box.

RIght. So what you're saying is: You don't know, but you had the urge to reply anyway.

Thanks

I don't know if it will work. But I do know that I have got the gonads to try it.
