Ports Not Opening

Hi,

Sorry in advance because i've posted about this before but i'm still struggling to get answers.

Does Virginmeda block ports 5061 & 10,000 - 20,000 as i am really struggling to open these ports in modem mode using a Draytek router?

Port 5060 I can open and close with no issue.

If you have the router open ports or the router would be the one with them ports open.

likely your firewall is blocking to the app

Still no joy.

I am absolutely convinced Virgin Meda have changed their policy and are blocking more ports.

I can open & close other ports no issue & I have checked my firewall.

If anyone works for Virgin Media can you please advise?

VM are not blocking any more ports are you sure your hub is in modem mode?

You can test my Test for outgoing ports which tests my incoming ports to know if VM are blocking any ports.

Yes, the router is in modem mode.

I also noticed my public IP address has changed since i upgraded my broadband.

Your IP changing is not a problem as long as its a WAN IP.

You can connect a PC to the hub in modem mode and Wireshark ports from a port scan by GRC.com
