Poor broadband performance

Hi,

Last Tuesday (21st), lost broadband for the day. Green power light, and green arrows.

Rang up Virgin, and they advised an engineer was working on the issue, apparently some outage on the system in London.

Connectivity returned the next day, for around 1.5 hours. Then gone again, same issue.

Tried ringing and was told the issue would be resolved the next day. It wasn’t.

Im now 9 day’s later, and I’ve only managed to get connectivity when I do a hub factory reset. However this has stopped doing the trick today. Also speeds dropped to 3mbps for download today.

Is there any other fix that can be done? Is there actually an outage, or is it an issue more local? (Cabinet, router, etc.)

 

was on hold for 45 minutes today, and just gave up, as was getting no where.
