Poor Wifi 5ghz performance

I am currently receiving extremely poor WiFi signal/performance from the Hub 3.0 router.

The service I have is 350mb fiber, connected as wired I am receiving 285mb.

Sitting within 1 metre of the router, using a laptop and an s20 ultra. I am receiving 110mbps to 130mbps. Multiple devices slow connectivity.

If I move away any further than 5metres from the box the signal and performance drop off to half that speed.

It was working fine on Sunday, before the issues on Monday. Plus the fact someone cut a cable in the west Midlands area.

I have reset the router multiple times, factory reset it. Manually set the 5ghz channel to different channels including 100mhz+.

Still the same, please someone help me.

The 5Ghz channel only offers 20/40/80 not 100. 

Posting some stats from the hub will help.

Post back the Network, Upstream and Downstream logs

Hi, some of laptops coming with pre-installed software like Dell with SmartByte (if you found uninstall or disable it) . So these will not let you use your full network speed.

And my recommendation if you still getting your poor speed. Try to not separate your bands. Leave them with the same name and password. And your devices will connect to the better one. For me this helps.

Channel width is 20/40/80

But the actual channels can go beyond 100.

Maybe it was my reference to mhz in regards to channel that confused things

I just don't understand what is going on. The maximum throughput the other day was 867mbps.

Today it is 121mbps, really weird
