PiHole and PiVPN on Valerie Modem/Router

I just recently got my Valerie modem/router from Virgin after switching to them. I also have a Raspberry Pi running PiHole and PiVPN.

For PiHole, how can I set my DNS Server on Valerie to the IP address of the Raspberry Pi? I've looked through the settings and can't seem to find it. Under DNS settings there are only the options for primary/secondary DNS servers.

Also, for the PiVPN side of it, I can't seem to figure out how to set up the port forwarding. The external port is 555. On my old router, I didn't need to specify an internal port, but for Valerie, it is required.

I've already set a static IP address to the Raspberry Pi. It is 192.168.2.90 and it is connected to Valerie via ethernet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Noah

Not possible I'm afraid with virgin routers. When i had a pihole, I had to get my own separate router to be able to change the DNS address to my pihole.

Alright, that's what I'll do then. Is it pretty straightforward to it up with my own router then?

Thanks

"Valerie modem/router from Virgin" I do not recognise that hub as being one used by VM UK. Are you in Eire?
