Permanent Red Light - Hub 3.0

Recently my Hub 3.0 light has permanently turned red from white. The hub is in the same position it has been for years, is upright, used in Router mode, out in the open, and doesn't feel hot to the touch. Do I need a replacement? I don't want it to fail and leave us without wifi. Thank you

 

ps I have tried rebooting the hub, it always returns to the red light.
