Paused devices function not working

I recently got the connect app in the hopes I could stop certain devices in the house using it 24/7 however any devices I pause still have access to the internet. Any help would be appreciated.

No, I’ve tried it on; Roku devices, Google Nest Mini and Toshiba TV and none of them have lost their connection

Use the MAC filtering on the hubs admin pages instead.

Not to sound like a noob but could you possibly explain that more I’m not sure I know what a MAC  filtering is or where the hubs admin page is. Sorry.

The app is an attempt to put the Hub management into an easy to use GUI but it doesn't do it very well.

The Hub GUI in a browser at 192.168.0.1 is the best way to manage the settings.
