Old wifi boosters hissing

Hello, I have the large white wifi boosters and I've of them is now not working it just makes a hissing sound  and the other one just has a constant red flashing light. I have switched it on and off and the light still flashes red. I have removed the other one due to the noise it was making. Any suggestions 🤔 thanks

Unplug both.

Faulty/ end of life network kit can overheat and you do not need that spoiling your weekend.

As above. They are proven fire hazards and should have been withdrawn by now by VM.

Sorry to hear of the issues with the Wi-Fi boosters.

Can you please follow the advice from @Client62 and unplug the boosters to allow to cool down?

Have you possibly experience any Wi-Fi issues whilst the apparent faults have been present on the boosters?
